RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange subject to returns policy. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

 

RETURNS

All returns must be postmarked within Thirty (30) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged in a sealed box, to ensure the contents are protected during transit. It is advisable to ship with a tracking number as we are not responsible for loss or damages that occur during shipping.

If you choose to exchange/return item(s) you must pay shipping and handling. No returns will be accepted for installed items, custom parts, scratch & dent items, special orders, or modified items. If you need to return an item because it's faulty, or because of something we've done wrong, we won't charge you for the return.

Returned items will be checked by our Returns Team to ensure they meet the criteria set out in this Returns Policy. If your return does not comply with these conditions, we may not be able to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.

Returns can only be accepted Tuesday to Saturday excluding Bank Holidays.

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please email customer service at: Contact@easternbikes.co.uk

to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and the return form provided, then mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. Unless it’s faulty, or because of something we've done wrong. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least six (6) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Products received over 30 days ago cannot be returned
  • Products that have been opened or unsealed cannot be returned
  • Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition cannot be returned
  • Products which have been damaged in return transit due to insufficient packaging cannot be returned

    Eastern Bikes UK reserve the right to refuse a return if we believe the purpose was for stock trading/reselling and not personal use.

    Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

    You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

    Warranty

    Eastern Bikes offers a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on all complete bicycle frame, forks and bars. The time period starts with the original date of purchase. A limited warranty is offered on select models; please check the model pages for details. Parts and accessories are covered by a 6 months limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty is only offered to the original purchaser with proof of purchase from an authorized Eastern Bikes dealer. This does not include wear and tear items such as seats, grips, tires, cables, etc. However, there are some limitations to these warranties.

     

    Eastern Bikes’ top priority is to produce the highest quality parts available at each price level. Here at Eastern Bikes, we strive to deliver a product that is free of defects in materials and workmanship. The following is Eastern Bikes Limited Warranty.

     

    WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

    Eastern Bikes warrants to the original purchaser of an Eastern Bikes bike from an authorized dealer that the bike’s parts will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated below. No one is allowed to change or add to this Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty only applies to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase from an authorized dealer as set forth below. Eastern Bikes will not warranty products that have been previously replaced under warranty. Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchase of a qualifying product, and excludes any products that have been previously covered or replaced by Eastern Bikes. This Limited Warranty is subject to the exclusions described below.

    THE LENGTH OF THE WARRANTY

    For the following bike parts, the Limited Warranty lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns the bike: Eastern Bike frames, Slayer and Hawkeye forks, Tranny and Wonder Years bars. For all other bike parts, the Limited Warranty lasts for one year after the date the original purchaser purchases the bike from the authorized dealer. **International warranty periods vary, please contact the distributor for details**

     

    WHAT THE LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

    The Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

    • Defects in materials or workmanship caused by misuse, abuse or neglect. Such actions void the Limited Warranty, so you should avoid these actions.

    • Defects in materials or workmanship caused by modification, accident, material removal, theft, improper assembly or fit, normal wear and tear, or caused during transportation.

    • Defects in materials or workmanship caused by failure to maintain or service the bike properly or by a failure to follow all instructions and warnings in the Owner’s Manual. Please consult your Owner’s Manual for maintenance and safety information.

    • Paint or other normal “wear and tear” items such as seats, grips, tires, tubes, cables, brake pads and chains.

    • Bends in tubing except for on an Ultralight fork or bar.

    • Any labor charges associated with the Limited Warranty or cost of shipping the part to us.

    • Any bike, part or product that is not sold by an authorized dealer. For example, a bike, part, or product that is sold by an outlet or through an online auction site.

    Please inspect your Eastern Bikes product immediately upon receipt, including checking all bolts, surfaces, welds, nooks, crannies and frame junctions. Eastern Bikes cannot be held responsible for damages incurring in transit, so please report any such damage to the carrier immediately.

    HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

    If you intend to call our warranty department, please save time by using our ONLINE WARRANTY FORM. Limited Warranty claims must be made directly to Eastern Bikes. The part must be returned to us PRE-AUTHORIZATION with a copy of the sales receipt evidencing proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Eastern Bikes must receive a copy of your sales receipt before it will process any Limited Warranty claim. If you do not have, or cannot find, your sales receipt, please contact the authorized dealer where you made your purchase for assistance. If you are unable to provide your original receipt for the purchase, Eastern Bikes will be rendered unable to cover your item under the terms of our warranty. Please make all warranty claims, and direct all warranty questions, to our warranty department:

    WHAT WE WILL DO FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

    You must notify Eastern Bikes if any parts do not conform to the Limited Warranty. If a product is determined to be covered by the Limited Warranty, Eastern Bikes will, at its option, either repair or replace that part and will pay the shipping charges to ship the repaired or replacement product back to you.

     

    WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

    Eastern Bikes is not responsible for (a) shipping charges you incur when sending a product to us for warranty service or evaluation or (b) any labor charges incurred in conjunction with the Limited Warranty. LIMITATIONS ON THE LIMITED WARRANTY You must have proof of purchase from an authorized dealer in order for Eastern Bikes to provide any Limited Warranty repair or replacement, so please retain your original sales receipt.

    EASTERN BIKES MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES BEYOND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or other implied warranty is limited to the duration of the Limited Warranty.

     

    EASTERN BIKES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

    YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS THAT EASTERN BIKES WILL DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING FOR ANY NON-CONFORMING PART, AT ITS ELECTION: REPAIR IT, REPLACE IT, OR REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR ANY NON-CONFORMING PART. EASTERN BIKES’ LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE PART AT ISSUE.

     

    INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY CLAIMS

    All International warranty claims are to be handled by each country’s distributor. Please reference International Dealers to find a distributor in your country.

    Damages
    Premium Cycle Brands Ltd / Eastern Bikes is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
